Have You Ever Been Offered Job Even Though You Didn’t Apply?

Yes I have.

In April 2021 and May 2021 to be exact, I was offered two jobs in Singapore. And I just graduated two days ago (at the moment).

Back on topic earlier, when I was offered the job, it happened after I reactivated my LinkedIn account. Of course I filled it with details on each section. It should be noted that the process of completing the self-experience on LinkedIn, for me it tooks about 1 month.

How did it happened? Because as you all know that if we fill in each section completely, of course there will be detailed information. In the detailed information, often the data that I have is scattered. So, I had to search manually before finally listing the related experiences clearly.

I’m so thankful that I tried to fill in a structured, detailed, and completed. A recruiter from start-up company in Singapore contacted me. She offers job in the field of Big data, AI, and ML (machine learning).

For one reason or another somehow, the position was offered to me declared withdrawn. So I canceled filling staff vacancies at the company.

Then, a few weeks later, another recruiter from a Singapore start-up company sent a chat that his company was in need of staff. After sending my CV and filling out other forms, I felt that there was a discrepancy that I couldn’t describe in more detail.

So far, I haven’t decided. Whether would take the project or how?

However, what I am grateful for…..that my persistence in networking and seeking complete self-experience, makes me considered.
